1 (12 to 15- Pounds) turkey
·
4 Tbsp unsalted grass-fed butter or ghee
·
3 cloves minced garlic
·
1 tsp garlic powder
·
1/2 tsp sea salt
Instructions
1.
Do Not Use Wet Brine For Turkey
2.
Start dry, bringing your turkey one to two days
before roasting it. Allow the turkey to Cook until an instant-read thermometer
reaches 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove anything from the turkey's cavity, and
pat it dry with paper towels.
3.
Coat the turkey with coarse sea salt, making
sure to get it between the skin and the meat on the breast, thighs, and
drumsticks.
4.
Keep the covered roasting pan in the fridge for
at least two days.
Optional Step: Inject
Turkey:
1.
Put all the injection liquid ingredients into a
small blender (like a NutriBullet or Magic Bullet) and blitz until smooth.
2.
Two, absorb the fluid with your meat injector.
The liquid should be injected into the breasts multiple times in various
locations until it is completely depleted. Put most of the liquid in the areas
without fat.
Smear Turkey with Garlic
Butter:
1.
First, mix the melted ghee or butter, fresh
garlic, garlic powder, and salt in a separate bowl to make garlic butter. Cool
the butter to the spreading temperature.
2.
After the butter has been melted, use a pastry
brush to coat the turkey thoroughly.
Roast the Turkey:
1.
Set the oven temperature to 350 degrees F.
2.
To make a delicious Thanksgiving meal, stuff the
turkey with fresh herbs, chopped onion, lemon, apples, carrots, celery, or a
combination of these ingredients.
3.
Tie the legs together with kitchen twine, so
they don't droop during baking.
4.
Roast the turkey for an hour with the foil on
top. Take the turkey out of the foil and roast it while basting it with the pan
juices.
5.
Roast the turkey, uncovered, until an
instant-read thermometer registers 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
6.
Put the turkey in the oven and use a thermometer
to ensure it's Cooked. Put the thermometer where your breast tissue is densest
to get an accurate reading.
7.
Set the broiler to high and broil the turkey for
3–5 Minutes, depending on how crunchy you like the skin.
Let Turkey Rest:
ü
First, give the turkey 15 to 20 Minutes of rest
before you cut it up and serve it. Pair with the Bowles of your choosing and
dig in!
Notes
